In commemoration of this event, the tea farmers named this tea "Dongfanghong" (literally "The East is Red"), which is also known as the "Chairman's Tea".
And the tea tree is tall. The old clump mother tree is 5.8 meters high and has a crown width of 7.8 meters. The leaves are long and oval in shape, light green in color, and rich in luster.
